Q1: Do you deliver every image you shoot?

A: No. On average I shoot 1,400-2,000 pictures per wedding. I filter through them and keep only the best expressions, and the sharpest images.

Q2: How many images do you deliver?

A: A typical 8-10 hour wedding may yield 400-500 images. Things such as length of wedding, amount of people and how long we take portraits of the bride and groom usually affect the number of images produced.

Q3: Do you edit all of the images?

A: Yes. I take meticulous time with each image and make sure to color correct, enhance, and produce a final product that would look and feel as professional as possible.

Q4: Do you provide videography services?

A: Yes. I provide a Highlight Wedding Video, which is a 3-5min story trailer of the wedding day, and an Enhanced Wedding Video which is a 15-20 minute extended version of the Highlight Video. The extended version includes longer moments such as toast, prayer, ceremony, and reception clips. The Enhanced Wedding Video will have a dedicated videographer.

Q5: What rights do I have to the digital wedding images?

A: You will receive the right to print, reproduce, and post online. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish without the consent of Kusko Photography.

Q6: What happens if we go over the contracted time?

A: I will not pack my bags and leave on the dot. I will ask the bride/groom if you are ready to let me go, or if you would like me to stay longer- in which case each additional hour is billed at $100/hr. Each extra picture that is taken will need to be post produced which adds extra time to my workflow and overall costs.

Q7: Do you design wedding invitations?

A: Yes. Inquire about the style, type of paper, and design you are interested in. Each invitation is $2.50, which includes designing and ordering.

Q8: How do you deliver the wedding images?

A: I place all edited images on a USB, and then the USB into a customized USB presentation box. I also provide an online gallery, which you may share with your friends and family.

Q9: How do you deliver engagement (and other) images?

A: You are given access to an online gallery of all full sized images, which you may download at your leisure.

Q10: Do you shoot JPEG or RAW?

A: I shoot RAW explicitly. JPEG is a done products that can’t be altered too much in post production, whereas RAW gives me the flexibility to color balance adjust the image to my liking.

Q12: What type of camera/equipment do you use?

A: Please see “About My Equipment”.

Q13: Do you do destination weddings?

A: No. I am a family man, and prefer to work locally. I will however, travel within a reasonable distance. Inquire if you are 30 miles outside of the Seattle Area.

Q14: How do I reserve you for my wedding date?

A: Once the contract is signed and the 50% deposit is made, your date becomes reserved.

Q15: What happens when you cannot make it to my wedding due to emergency, act of God, or natural disaster?

A: I hope it never comes to that, and will take all precautions necessary to make it to your wedding day; however, in case something out of my control does occur, I hold myself responsible for finding a replacement photographer that shares my style, or refunding your deposit.
